We are now running courses. They are aimed at home owners, surveyors, architects and tradesmen. The courses will be run by Duncan Berry and Callum Jackson. Duncan who has been working with flint for nearly thirty years and worked on many prestigious projects. He owns Berry Stonework Ltd based in Lavant. Callum who has been with us for 5 years since finishing college and is turning into a fine tradesman and producing some outstanding work.

✼ Flintwork Practical Course

£295 per person

2 day course covering knapping and laying with award winning flint layers, looking at mortars and different styles of flintwork.

• Day 1: an introduction to flintwork and vernacular styles.

• Day 2: selecting and preparing flint for a practical piece. There will be a chance to create two sample panels in different styles.
