Duncan brings nearly 30 years of experience in working with flint and has contributed to numerous prestigious heritage and conservation projects. He is the founder of Berry Stonework Ltd, based in Lavant.

Callum, who joined us after college five years ago, is fast becoming a skilled tradesman and is already producing exceptional work in the field.

Half day course on different types of lime mortar for stone and brickwork.

A 2 day course covering knapping and laying with award winning flint layers, looking at mortars and different styles of flintwork.

• Day 1: an introduction to flintwork and vernacular styles.
• Day 2: selecting and preparing flint for a practical piece. There will be a chance to create two sample panels in different styles.

Offering an insight into selection of flints and a practical element to produce knapped flints.
