Made from Douglas Fir – the strongest homegrown softwood – these sawn laths are ideal for high-quality joinery and plastering applications. Traditionally used for box sash windows and structural joinery, Douglas Fir is prized for its durability, low moisture content, and natural resistance to beetle attack due to its resin content.

These laths are sawn green, resulting in a slightly raised grain texture that serves as an excellent key for plaster, improving adhesion and finish.
